Alstroemeria mix - Peruvian Lily
Alstroemerias are among the most popular and beloved cut flowers in the world. With these mixed Alstroemeria tubers, you can enjoy an abundance of colourful blooms in your own garden. Thanks to their long flowering period and sturdy stems, Peruvian Lilies are also ideal as cut flowers for bouquets and vases.
The Alstroemeria, also known as the Peruvian Lily, was named after the Swedish botanist Baron Alströmer. This remarkable plant originally comes from South American countries such as Chile, Peru and Brazil. It forms a herbaceous plant with strong upright stems and reaches a height of approximately 60 cm.
The flowering period runs from July to September. The elegant flowers last a long time in a vase and also add vibrant colour to borders and flower beds.
