The spectacular Crinum Lily
Crinum Lilies are spectacular sub-tropical flower-bulbs with very large, attractive lily-like flowers. Crinum Lilies should be added to the ‘must-have’ list of every gardener, as she does not disappoint. We sell the Crinum Samba variety, an exotic beauty with white/pink striped flowers, which we are simply in love with. Crinums live ‘as long as Adam’ and are tough as nails. They even tolerate frost up to minus 10 degrees (although we do advise you to protect them during the winter and keep your containers in a frost-free area!).
Crinum Lilies are tough as nails and exuberantly flowering
Crinum Lilies are extremely strong, nearly indestructible flower-bulbs that will delight you with their exuberant flowers year after year. To force flowering, you get the best results by planting her in a pot too small. Crinum Lilies, like Peonies and Agapanthus, don’t like to be transplanted, so only do so when she’s literally breaking out of the pot!
