Gladiolus Red - Sword lily Traderhorn
Gladiolus bulbs are incredibly easy to grow and look stunning when planted in large groups. These popular summer-flowering bulbs are highly valued for their beautiful cut flowers.
Originally from South Africa, these gladioli grow to around 100 cm in height and produce tall, elegant blooms. Plant them from April to the end of May in a sunny spot in your garden. For best results, plant them in groups of 10 bulbs, spacing them about 10 cm apart and 10 cm deep. Until planting, store the bulbs in a dry and airy place.
TIP: Gladiolus flowers are perfect for cutting. Remove faded blooms regularly to encourage a longer flowering period. During winter, store the bulbs frost-free, dry and well-ventilated.
